Use suction-only motor when sweeping hard floors or using hand wand, turn on both motors to vacuum carpet with brush roll. One suction speed, four floor height settings. Easy to switch suction modes between wand and brush, ergonomic controls. Operates in prone position to vacuum under bed. No headlight, has heavy 50ft removable cord, a little on the long side but okay. A significant improvement over the bagless vacuum it replaced. This product was compared with Sebo and Miele. Used for one month before writing this review, purchased for household with many pets.
