They were heavy, you pumped out the air with the handheld machine you could buy, and no freezer burn to the food, even after months. Reynolds discontinued this item because of a lack "of customer base." I don't think they tried hard enough to get a customer base. I never saw ads. Only one of 6 grocery stores in this town carried the bags. Neither of the discount stores in my area carried them. Now people are asking outrageous prices for the bags that are left to sell. Since I'm going to have to learn to deal without them, I won't pay these prices to just put off when the end will be. Meanwhile, everyone looking for these bags needs to write Reynolds and tell them to bring the product back. We are a customer base.
