We had to pack for a land excursion followed by a cruise, so we packed everything that we would need for the cruise in the Samsonite space saver bags. The rest of the space in the suitcases was then available for the items necessary for the land excursion. Once we got on the cruise, all of our dirty clothes went into the space saver bags and out of the way.
