(More customer reviews)I love the concept of the Frisper, but I just get such inconsistent results "frisping" things.
I ordered a bunch of these bags around $4 per box, I see them up at $15 a box which is the usual price. I don't know why the were $4 when I bought them, and wondered if that contributed to the failure rate.
In any event, I like these storage containers, or "pantry bags" as Oliso refers to them, because they stand upright, and also you use the tube to suck the air out as opposed to the flat bags where the machine actually punctures the bag and melts a circle around the puncture to seal it. These bags don't require that and theoretically can be re used an unlimited number of times.
The problem I run into, is getting consistent results. I am at the point when I frisp anything I leave it on the table for a few hours to see which bags didn't work so I can try again. And it is usually half of them that fail. So something just isn't right.
Oliso does give you a 1-800 number to call if bags don't work and to give them credit I haven't done so yet.
