(More customer reviews)I have a 16 month old daughter in daycare. Her toddler class does not have the ability to heat their lunches. Although she likes sandwiches, I need the option to pack her a hot lunch with the comfort of knowing it's still hot (or at least warm) by lunch time. I can across the Zojirushi Bento system (Mr Bento, Ms Bento). Assuming the mini Bento was just a smaller version ot Mr/Ms, I fugured this was perfect. Not quite. You have the abolity to heat/keep warm only 1 container. Not sure how this differ from simply using a thermos. A 'one' container solution means your meal is all mixed together. Whereas I was HOPING for a 3 compartment container to separate the foods like the Mr and Ms Bento.
Very cute and I guess I can use the smaller microwave containter for cold foods. BUT AGAIN, how does this differ from a $5 thermos that can serve the same purpose. So I have yet another lunch container which cannot meet my needs completely.
My rating is based on the fact that its in the Bento line for Zojirushi, but totally different from the Mr/Ms Bento.
