The bags seem to filter properly. No real loss of suction from new bag to almost full bag. They hold the standard amount of dirt, but I recommend changing them AT LEAST bi-weekly if not weekly, as you vacuum up lots of bacteria and germs and you should not let it fester in the bag for too long.
This package will give you several weeks of changes and at a great price per bag. You won't mind changing them even though they are not quite full because you paid so little.
Also, get some of the popular baking soda carpet powder and sprinkle a bit on the carpet on a spot and vacuum up into new bag. This will keep your bag smelling clean during operation. This is especially helpful if you have animals in your house, human and otherwise.
I'd recommend these bags.
