(More customer reviews)I like these containers a lot and I think they are very useful. You have to know a few tricks, though. First of all, it is important to make sure that the vacuuming process does work every single time. Sometimes during dish-washing, the rubber band under the lid might get misplaced, and then the vacuuming won't work. It's easily fixable, but you just have to pay attention if you don't want your foods to get spoiled. Also, these particular containers don't fit a lot in them, so they are not good for large servings of food. If you are planning to store something perishable in them for a long period of time (over a week), I suggest you check on the container every 3-4 days to see whether it's still vacuumed. If it is, you will see it -- the container changes its form a little when it's under vacuum. Don't buy it from Food saver's website -- it's much more expensive than anywhere else... Otherwise, enjoy -- I have 6 of these, and I use them all the time.
