(More customer reviews)I've had a Miele washer and dryer set for a while now. I love the washing machine. The dryer is too automatic for its own good. Drying with the sensor works great. "Extra Dry" really means dry, and "Normal" means almost dry. What I'd like to be able to do is to use "Normal" and pick out the things I don't want to burn. However, if the clothes are close to dry, but not all the way there, it's nearly impossible to get the machine to restart. It thinks the clothes are dry, stops, and beeps at you. It's really irritating. The only worthwhile manual setting is "45 minute warm" but it's not warm enough. What I really want is "10 minute warm" that's actually warm. Alas, the machine does not have that option. UPDATE: I got a recall notice from Miele for a software update. The technician came today and applied the patch. Now, it's unusable. The dryer stops, beeps, and flashes all the lights constantly. As I said before, the product is too automatic for its own good, and the level of quality and testing on the software is poor. I recommend you buy something else.
