(More customer reviews)What you take in savings, you give up in some functionality. I expect most things to be dishwasher safe. This is not. I am pretty lazy and will find out, I'm sure, what happens when you wash one of these in the dishwasher. I bought this to keep food warm for my toddler's lunches. I'm glad I bought three at a time. Next time, I'll read more carefully. I didn't realize how much this inconvenience would annoy me.
Not being my son for whom these are for, I don't know how hot it keeps food.
